Hi everyone! I thought that I would do an update on my beauty essentials as I'm using quite a few different products, so lets get started:
1) Base: So firstly, I'm using a completely different foundation. I still absolutely adore my Bobbi Brown foundation but I have to admit that I am in love with Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation. This is a medium coverage foundation (but closer to high coverage if I'm being honest). The best thing about it though is that it doesn't budge throughout the whole day. Literally. I'm talking 24hr's man. I have slept in this (which I never recommend!!) after a party and was still looking hella cute the next day. And I have very very oily skin, so to find a foundation like this that stays all day and looks matte is great! I set it with either my MAC Prep + Prime Translucent Finishing Powder or my Bobbi Brown Sheer Finish Loose Powder (which are both heavenly btw) using my Lamik Kabuki brush, which is super soft for a synthetic brush ,and that's my base done! The best thing about this foundation is that you don't even need concealer.
2) Eyes: I'm still using my Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette as it is truly heaven sent. You can create looks for day and night with this palette and it looks good on all skin tones! Eyeliner-wise I'm now using the Seventeen High Drama Liquid Eyeliner. I picked it up on a whim as I needed a new brush for my gel so thought I would buy this while I waited to buy one and have never looked back. It is precise, works like a charm and is perfect for creating my signature wing! I am also using Benefit's They're Real Mascara. Yes I have jumped on the hype. But if you want long lashes (mine are literally non-existent without mascara), this is your best bet. I also love Lancome's Hypnose Doll Eyes Mascara (not pictures) and Dior Show Blackout (not pictured).
3) Lips: Ah my beloved MAC lipsticks. I think I wear red lipstick almost every single day and Ruby Woo has never let me down. It is literally the perfect matte red and lasts so long! When I want a 'your lips but better' natural lip colour, I always gravitate towards Hug Me. It is the perfect pinky nude and makes the lips look so kissable!
4) Brushes: I'm still using my trusty Jemma Kid Brushes (first and second) which are great for all over the lid and getting in the crease. I am also still using this Lancome fluffy brush which was my mother's but I 'borrowed' it last year and it is still in my possession. For applying my foundation I am now using this Lamik foundation brush which is a really soft synthetic brush and helps you to easily blend in your foundation.
